VAPAA PUDOTUS
Vapaa Pudotus (Trust Off - title in English) is a dance work about the dialogue between control and surrender.
The performance reflects the moment before the fall, an accelerating and elongating time in which the experience of falling is highlighted. In Free Fall (Finnish translation from the title / Trust Off), the movement is detached from balance - from the fall and the sensation it brings. In the work, the maintenance of balance and the abandonment of balance alternate at the level of both movement and meaning.
What does a leap into the unknown really mean? Can the great turning points in life be anticipated? What does uncertainty and trust in the face of the unknown look like?
